Gort Cancer Support
Gort Cancer Support was established in June 2007 to provide support and practical assistance to people affected by a cancer diagnosis. We adopt a holistic approach towards our clients and their family members by providing a range of activities and social events which will enhance our clients wellbeing and coping skills. Our cancer support centre is managed and operated by trained volunteers with the assistance of administrative staff and professional therapists. We offer a home from home environment where one will feel relaxed and welcome. Our Registered Charity Number (RCN) is 20075927.
Get ready for a fun-filled family day out at the Ardrahan Show this Saturday. From horse & pony classes & dog shows to children's entertainment & the ever-popular bonny baby competition, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
We are delighted & incredibly grateful to the organising committee for selecting Gort Cancer Support once again as their charity partner for this year's event. Donations received in lieu of an entry fee will support the work of our centre & the services we provide to those affected by cancer in our community.
A huge thank you to the committee for their continued support. We hope to see lots of familiar faces there for what promises to be a fantastic day for all the family!
