We adopt a holistic approach towards our clients and their family members by providing a range of activities and social events which will enhance our clients wellbeing and coping skills. Our cancer support centre is managed and operated by trained volunteers with the assistance of administrative staff and professional therapists. We offer a home from home environment where one will feel relaxed and welcome.

The programme will focus on fatigue, sleep, food, activity, emotions, relationships, communication, problem solving & setting goals. In other words, practical things that can make everyday life a little easier.
The programme will be starting on Thursday 24th September with an introductory session on the 10th September .
Call 086 1724500 to find out more or book your place. Please feel free to share this post with anyone who may benefit.

Have you completed your cancer treatment & are looking for support to help you move forward with confidence?
Cancer Thrive & Survive is a free, 6-week self-management programme designed to help people living with & beyond cancer regain confidence, improve wellbeing, & manage the physical & emotional challenges that can follow treatment.
Over the six weeks, participants explore topics such as:
• Managing fatigue & building energy
• Healthy eating & physical activity
• Coping with stress, anxiety & emotions
• Goal setting & problem solving
• Building confidence & resilience
• Living well beyond cancer & accessing ongoing support.
The programme will be facilitated by our Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Pam Watson (The CBT Lady), alongside a trained Peer Leader who has previously completed the programme themselves. Together, they offer both professional guidance & the valuable perspective of lived experience.
We’re hoping to run our next programme in late September, subject to sufficient numbers.
If you, or someone you know, would be interested in taking part, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch on 086 1724500 to register your interest or to find out more. Please feel free to share this post with anyone who may benefit.
