Gort Cancer Support
Gort Cancer Support was established in June 2007 to provide support and practical assistance to people affected by a cancer diagnosis. We adopt a holistic approach towards our clients and their family members by providing a range of activities and social events which will enhance our clients wellbeing and coping skills. Our cancer support centre is managed and operated by trained volunteers with the assistance of administrative staff and professional therapists. We offer a home from home environment where one will feel relaxed and welcome. Our Registered Charity Number (RCN) is 20075927.
A huge thank you to Mary Lee of Chez Lee Beauty Clinic for volunteering her time today & facilitating another beautiful Look Good Feel Better Ireland skincare & makeup workshop here at Hollyblue House .The ladies who take part always get so much from these sessions, picking up practical tips, sharing laughs & most importantly, leaving feeling more confident & supported.

Yesterday we said a fond “Au revoir” to Tracy as she sadly came to the end of her Community Employment scheme with us after four years. During her time at the Centre, Tracy has been a valued & much‑loved presence in the office, always offering support, kindness & a helping hand wherever it was needed.
While we will greatly miss seeing her every week, we hope this is not goodbye & that she will call in to visit us again very soon. We wish Tracy every success & happiness in the next chapter of her journey & thank her sincerely for all she has contributed.
