Gort Cancer Support
Gort Cancer Support was established in June 2007 to provide support and practical assistance to people affected by a cancer diagnosis. We adopt a holistic approach towards our clients and their family members by providing a range of activities and social events which will enhance our clients wellbeing and coping skills. Our cancer support centre is managed and operated by trained volunteers with the assistance of administrative staff and professional therapists. We offer a home from home environment where one will feel relaxed and welcome. Our Registered Charity Number (RCN) is 20075927.

Dust off your Dancing shoes!!! Kinvara Area Music is delighted to announce its second annual HARVEST BARNDANCE, featuring American Square Dances, Waltzes, Céilí dances, and Freestyle dance at the Kinvara Community Centre, 8-11pm, October 17th. No experience or partners necessary—emphasis is on the craic! Admission €15, including refreshment. Kids under 16 €5 (Must be accompanied by an adult.) Proceeds will go to a very worthy local cause, Gort Cancer Care. Gort Cancer Support
Music will be provided by local Kinvara old-timey players, & Irish dance musicians. All dances apart from waltzes and freestyles will be called by local caller/teachers. With full instructions given, beginners are encouraged and more than welcome! So come on & kick off those end of summer blues! Tickets available at Healing Harvest, online at www.kinvaramusic.com, and on the door until capacity reached. Advanced booking recommended
