Gort Cancer Support
Gort Cancer Support was established in June 2007 to provide support and practical assistance to people affected by a cancer diagnosis. We adopt a holistic approach towards our clients and their family members by providing a range of activities and social events which will enhance our clients wellbeing and coping skills. Our cancer support centre is managed and operated by trained volunteers with the assistance of administrative staff and professional therapists. We offer a home from home environment where one will feel relaxed and welcome.
Our Registered Charity Number (RCN) is 20075927.

The event kicks off at 3 PM and promises an amazing line-up of live music. Entry is €15 & all proceeds will go directly to our support centre. Your contribution will help us continue providing free supportive services to friends and neighbours affected by a cancer diagnosis.

We are thrilled to announce that Gort Cancer Support has been chosen as one of the charities for the Galway People of the Year Awards.
If you were tuned into Galway Bay FM yesterday morning then you would have heard Ollie Robinson confirm that Galway Parkinson's Association & ourselves are the chosen charities for this year's event. We are deeply grateful to the committee for selecting us and look forward to celebrating with all the winners on Friday 22nd November at the Galway Bay Hotel.
We also want to take this opportunity to congratulate Bernice Forde Carolan on her Galway People of the Year award. Bernice has been nominated for all the charity & voluntary work that she has done around Gort over many years. We are fortunate to count Bernice as one of our volunteer drivers. Well deserved Bernice 🥰
